Wella yesterday was so very hard and I'm sorry for crying so much when I went to visit you and Wello yesterday. I miss you everyday and look at your pictures all the time. Tariq and I watch the slide show and when he hears the music he says "Weah" and watches it with me. I know one day we will be together again and I can not believe how fast this year went by. It's been a year now Wella! It's been hard and we all miss you so much! Sophie's still ask for you but, I tell her you are in heaven now watching over us. I know that you are in a better place along side the man that you loved so much my Wello! Until we see each other again - I carry you both in my heart everyday. I love you both so much.

Today was hard and Tuesday will be even harder, but today was my first Grandparents Day without you and I miss the fact that I could not see you and hug you. I miss you so much and think about you all the time. Happy Grandparents Day to you and Wello! I love and miss ya'll very much!

Happy Easter Mama!!
Today was very hard because today was our first Easter without you. Today we reminisce how you would be out there with kids egg hunting or going through our baskets only looking for the boiled eggs. I find myself still crying for you almost everyday but i keep telling myself that you are in a better place and no longer suffering. We miss you so much and I know we will see each other again in Heaven!

Hi Wella, Yesterday has been 5 months since you left us to be with Wello and God. These past 5 months have not been easy and I don't feel like it will ever get easy. I'm constantly looking at your video and looking at your pictures and wish I could have you here with us. I know you are resting in peace and no longer suffering. Please give Wello a hug and kiss and I'm sending you hugs and kisses also and Tariq is too. Can you also give Chico a hug and kiss from us.

Mama Nothing feels the same anymore, just feels like a regular day. These holidays are going to be tough without you. We love and miss you very much and we know you are in good hands. Going to miss your beautiful smile and your facial expressions you would make and how you would make us laugh. Until we meet again, Weah I want you and Welo to have a Happy Thanksgiving and make sure to give Chico some Ham from me and my mom and he will leave you alone! We miss and love you all Very Much!!

I'm somewhat sad and happy, but Chico passed away from a stroke yesterday and he died in my arms which is something I will never forget. I guess you needed him more than we did, but at least I can ease my heart a little knowing that he is by your side. Now I have him watching over our family as well. This is truly hard losing the both of y'all within two months. I miss you so much Grandma and I think of you daily. Now with the holidays coming up this is not easy and I just wish they would fly right by. I love you and Grandpa & Chico!!

These past two months have not been easy. It is still hard to accept that you are gone and life is not the same without you. The way you left us we will never know why. Maybe you didn't want to see anyone hurt. We didn't get to say goodbye and look you in your beautiful eyes and tell you that everything was going to be ok and how much we love you. I feel like we were robbed of not saying goodbye to you. I know you are our Guardian Angel up above and you are watching over all of us! Tariq and I still watch your slide show online and we begin to cry looking at all of the beautiful memories you have given us. This will never get easy and time doesn't seem like it is going to heal right now. Weah you have no idea what we would do right now if we could have you come back to us for one more day. Thinking of you always and Tariq and I love you so very much!!!

You have no idea how much we miss you and how heartbroken we are. Since you have left us it has been so hard to cope with our day to day bases, because we saw you everyday. We miss coming into your room to see your beautiful smile and walking you through the halls and taking you outside to get some fresh air and Sun. Miss combing your hair and listening to the radio with you. The day you left us you took a piece of our heart with you and there is not a moment we go throughout the day without thinking about you. Now all we have left are memories of you and we will cherish always.

1 Month ago today I said my last good-bye to you. This has been a very hard month for all of us. But, not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I have over 40 years of beautiful memories of you and my Wello too. I am so grateful to have these memories and now all I want is to share and give Sophia my first grand daughter the same beautiful memories. I love you Wella and Wello. And until we meet again I will carry both of you toghether in my heart forever.

It's me again. Today has been a month since you left us. Today was not easy just as all these days that have passed have not been easy either. I look at your pictures everyday, it's just so hard to accept the fact that you have left us. Tariq and I are keeping Mom busy but there are sometimes that Mom and I just cry together because we are missing you more than ever. I keep hearing that it will get easier and that it is going to take one day at a time but it has been a month and it doesn't seem like it is getting easier. I miss and think about you everyday! Give Welo a kiss for me! Tariq and I love you both very much!!

Ms Benavides..so many memories of you. It was an honor to have a part in caring for you. I will miss your humor and smile.

Today has been one week since you have left us to go be with Grandpa. This is not easy and we are so very hurt and devastated. Weah what hurts the most is seeing how much my Mom (Yolanda) and My Aunt Mary are so lost right now without you. They took care of you everyday and put you to sleep every night and now that you are gone they just look at the clock reminiscing on the old memories. It breaks my heart to see my Mom and my Aunt going through this. I wish there was something I could do to make it better and nobody could ever fill that hole in their heart that they have right now. Weah you were very fortunate to have such wonderful, caring, loving and devoted daughters and I am going to be just like my mom and be everything that she was to you. I don't want you or Grandpa to worry about Mama because I am going to take great care of her. I was suppose to get up the night of your rosary and speak a few words about you but I couldn't do it and I'm very sorry for letting you down and letting my mom and aunt down. I remember my mom telling me everyday about how your day was going, you had good days and you had bad days and I remember all the silly stories about you getting mad when my mom wouldn't show up on time and you would make your nurse call my mom to find out where was she at. I am truly going to miss hearing about you everyday and it is going to hurt. It felt good last night to hear that you use to say that I would never forget about you on special occasions. I use to bring you flowers and balloons on Valentine's Day, your Birthday, and Grandparents Day and you counted on me to show up and I did and I'm glad you had so much confidence in me. I love you Weah and I'm never going to forget everything you taught me, I am the woman I am today because of you.

My heart feels empty and I have no idea what I am going to do without seeing you everyday and and all the time we had shared. I am so lost without you but I know you are with Daddy now and I know he is really happy to see you. It is going to definetly take one day at a time and the healing will take time. It hurts because we didnt get to say goodbye to you and that is very painful for myself and Mary. You will continue to live in each and everyone of us and we are greatful for all of the wonderful memories and love you have given us over the years. Tell Daddy that I said I love and miss him very much!
