Michael is preceded in death by his parents, George Walker Birmingham Sr. and Rosalie Birmingham; as well as, his two brothers, Chuck Birmingham and Jack Birmingham.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Sue of 24 years and five children, Michelle Piper, Christopher Birmingham, Amy Schaffner, Michelle Dansby and Michael Fitzhugh; two brothers, Kenneth Birmingham and George Walker Birmingham Jr.; two sisters, Kathryn Sams and Karen Ortega; along with nineteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Michael was born in Oceanside, California on September 23, 1953. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching NASCAR. He loved being around his family and making his famous Birmingham Tacos.
A memorial service will be held at The Ridge Fellowship in Leander, Texas, on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at four o’clock in the afternoon. Reception for family and friends will follow at the home of his daughter, Michelle Piper.
