Michelle Mitchell

Robin Michelle Mitchell, age 60, of Austin, Texas passed away on December 14, 2022. She was born in Dallas, Texas on December 28, 1961. Michelle graduated from The University of North Texas and received Bachelor of Fine Arts. She was married to Douglas R Mitchell on February 6, 1988.

Michelle was a wonderful wife, mother, and artist. Before her son Robert was born, she was a manufactures representative for a well-known gum and candy company, but her favorite job was Mom. She was a devout follower of Jesus Christ. She had many passions, gardening, cooking, and photography just to name a few. She was survived by her son Robert Douglas Mitchell, her husband Douglas Mitchell, her parents Bob and Barbara Laughlin, and her brother Robert Michael Laughlin.

A memorial service for Michelle will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by an exhibition of her wonderful artwork from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35 Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
