

He grew up in Bastrop and Round Rock, Texas.
Milburn attended elementary, junior high and high school at the Hope Well School in Round Rock, Texas. He graduated with the class of 1963.
Milburn accepted Christ at an early age at Sweet Home Baptist Church. He was baptized at Brushy Creek in Round Rock. He later joined Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Austin, Texas on January 9, 1994.
Milburn was inducted in the Army in 1967. He fought in the Vietnam War 1968 through 1969. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the Vietnamese Service Medal and the Bronze Star.
His work career began with Latson Construction Company in 1964, which later became Austin Bridges & Roads. He worked with Austin Bridges & Roads for 43 years. During his tenure there, his job accomplishments included Hot Mix Foreman, managing a crew of 7 employees. He drove an 18 Wheeler-Heavy Equipment Hauler and his work career ended as a Truck Dispatcher. He retired on December 21, 2005. He gained respect from his many co-workers, as well as made life-long friends.
Milburn was preceded in death by his Father, Milburn Jona Estell; his Mother, Fronia Bell Maxwell-Clark; his Step-Father, Wallace Azariah Clark and his Sister, Janet Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, the love of his life, Kay Harris; Sons, Michael S. Estell and Bryson L. Estell; Daughter, Andrea N. Estell; Grands, Bryon E, Briana, Jasmine and Amaya Estell; Sisters, Alice McLaughlin (Bonnie) and Joyce Espy; one Aunt, Annette Hurt from Houston, Texas; Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and a host of other relatives.
Friends may visit on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 12:00 pm. until 5:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 5900 Cameron Road, Austin, Texas 78723. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
