

Molly Sue Weaver Graf of Austin TX passed away on September 11, 2024 peacefully in her sleep with her daughter by her side at the age of 98. Molly was born May 11, 1926 in Prescott, AR to Espy and Edna Weaver. Along with her parents, Molly is preceded in death by her husbands, Denton L. Robinson and Robert T. Graf, her grandson Dylan Robinson Weithoner, daughter, Dennie Robinson Jagger, her three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughters Debbie Robinson and Dina Ohnheiser and husband Derrl and two step children Cheryl Graf Booth and Robert Graf, multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Molly began her employment as a teacher in Laneburg AR after attending Henderson State Teachers College for one year. In 1943 with World War II in progress, her father put her on a train with another girl from her hometown headed to Washington DC where she found work with the Veterans Administration. After the war, she re-connected with her high school sweetheart, Denton Robinson, and they were married. Molly then moved to New Orleans where Denton attended Loyola Pharmacy School. Eventually, they landed in Abilene where they raised their children. In the early 70's, Molly moved to Austin where she enjoyed many years in retail and cosmetics. In 1976, she married Bob Graf and moved to Sun City. Molly was a prolific gardener and active bridge player. She joined the local garden club and loved working in her yard along with her neighbors. In 2015 after Bob's death, Molly and her daughter, Debbie, moved to La Grange to have a quieter life and for Molly to enjoy her declining years. In 2023, Molly and Debbie moved back to Austin where she stayed active, working in her garden and watching the Texas Longhorns.
