Myra Irene Hendrix

Born January 25, 1957, Myra was the daughter of Wayne Horace Hendrix and Emma Arlene (Cox) Hendrix. Myra’s parents preceded her in death. Myra was a life-long resident of the Austin area. She had a smile that would light up a room and a loving heart.

Myra is survived by her sisters, Beverly Turner and husband, Jack and Verna Carlson and husband, Michael; her brothers, Vernon E. Cox, Jr. and Joe P. Barrow. She also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, relatives, and many friends she made along the way.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Fall Creek Cemetery in Spicewood, Texas.

Honoring Myra as pallbearers are Jack Turner, Jacob Turner, Jarrod Turner, PS2 David Young, Scott Young, and Michael Carlson.
