

Ila Nadyne Lunsford Testerman, passed away on the morning of February 15th, 2016 in her home in Round Rock, Texas. She was born to James and Ella Mae Lunsford on November 2nd, 1936. She is preceded in death by an infant son James Kevin Testerman (1961), her father James Oliver Lunsford, her mother Ella Mae Brown Lunsford, her sister Thelma Byrum, and brothers Robert and James Lunsford. She also had 2 half-brothers and 3 half-sisters. She was the youngest of eight children.
Nadyne is survived by her childhood sweetheart of 64 years Jim “Jimmy” Testerman and her two children, daughter Tamara Testerman Geurin and husband Craig, and her son James Gregory Testerman and wife JoAnn. She had four Grandchildren, Shawn Eierdam, Amy Eierdam, Ryan Testerman, and Tyler Testerman and two great grandchildren, James Oliver Testerman, age 2, and sweet little Alice Rose Eierdam, age 5-months.
Nadyne attended Littlefield Texas High School and was a graduate of Isabell Powell School of Beauty in Lubbock, Texas in 1956. She made a career as a hair stylist and nail technician that spanned 45 years retiring in 2003. She loved her work and clients, some spanning three 3 generations.
In her 79 years of life Nadyne remained upbeat and took on Pulmonary Fibrosis with her ever present courage, tenacity, and legendary wit. She left joy in the hearts of all who knew her and was the most courageous, passionate, giving person one would ever know. She had friends from all walks of life. She believed in lots of laughter.
Nadyne surrendered her life to Christ in a small West Texas Baptist Church in Fieldton, Texas at the age of 19.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 18th, 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the Capitol Room of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Friday, February 19th at 1:00 p.m. and will be held in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home located at 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
