

Gerry was a graduate of Holland High School and attended Nixon/Clay Business College. Gerry married Don Mundine on August 1, 1942 and they were married for 63 years until his death in 2004.
She worked for the Texas Employment Commission for 27 years until her retirement in 1983. Before moving to Lexington in 2005, Gerry was an active member of Rosedale Baptist Church of Austin for more than 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don Mundine, her twin brothers Rolan Wallace and Raymon Strange Jr., and two sisters, Jean Henderson and Joy Cook.
She is survived by her three daughters, Nina Seifert and husband Leonard of Lexington, Gail Spillar of Rockport, and Alice Toungate of Austin; son, Don Lynn Mundine and wife Beckie of College Station; sisters, Lilla Lee Hendricks of Austin, Helen Spurlin of Temple and Billie Gilleland and husband Felix of Belton; sister-in-law, Mary Hope Bryant of Lima, Ohio; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gerry was blessed by having Sheila Dominy, Sandra Jordan, Amy Mathis, Missy Utz and Gladys McDowell as her loving, dedicated caregivers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Graveside services will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
