Obituary for Olga M. Lozano It is with heavy hearts and deep love, that we celebrate the life of Olga M. Lozano. Olga was born September 8th, 1949, (Scottsbluff, Nebraska) and passed away May 4th, 2026. (Austin, Texas)
Olga was raised and spent her early life in Lamesa, TX before she made her home in Austin, TX, where she grew her family; built a life rooted in faith, love, and unwavering devotion.
Olga was a woman of deep Christian faith who lived her beliefs through her actions. She was kind, generous, and always ready to help anyone in need, never turning away someone who needed care or compassion. Her life was a reflection of her faith—not perfect, but real, human, and full of grace.
Family was her heart’s greatest work. Olga not only raised her children, but also lovingly helped raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, pouring into each generation with strength, guidance, and immense love. Her home was more than a place—it was a refuge, filled with warmth, wisdom, and the unmistakable feeling that you belonged.
She had a gentle spirit, but she also carried a strength that could steady a room. Olga knew when to give, when to guide, and when to stand firm and take charge for the good of those she loved. That balance made her both a comfort and a cornerstone to her family.
She often reminded those closest to her, “You are greatly blessed, highly favored, and deeply loved.” Those words now echo as part of the legacy she leaves behind.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Manuel Ramirez. Mother, Evangelina Ramirez, Mother-in-law, Eva Lozano, and Son Michael Saldivar.
Olga is survived by her devoted husband, Cruz Lozano; her sisters, Esmerelda Rodriguez and Diana Dickson; her daughter, Michelle Ramirez; Stepson Cruz Lozano, Step Daughters Eva Lozano & Stephanie Bailey, her beloved grandchildren, Michael Ramirez, Jason Ramirez, Jonathan Salazar, Gabriella Salazar, Joshua Luna, Destiny Romero, and Zachary Saldivar; Step Grandchildren Cruz Lozano, Marissa Lozano, Gabriella Lozano, John Carlson, Annamarie Carlson, Brandon Lozano & Matthew Bailey, and her cherished great-grandchildren, Sierra Ramirez, Landon Ramirez, Kayden Ramirez, Caleigh Ramirez, Jalen Ramirez, Layla Pace, Chanel Gonzalez, and Leilani Saldivar.
Her love lives on in each of them—in the lessons she taught, the strength she modeled, and the care she gave so freely.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
