Opal Barnes Pauline Johnson

Boots loved her family and always put them first. She was kind, loved to sing and dance, and had an infectious laugh. Together with her husband, Boots enjoyed countless trips in their motor home. They shared many great adventures, and met lots of friends.

Boots is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Jimmie Johnson. She left this world a better place through the deep love she had for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: Son, Michael Johnson and children Jimmie and Catherine; daughter Donna Johnson; daughter Judi Havard and children Tiffany Denton, husband Michael and children Kyndall and Kaden; and Justin Havard, wife Hailee and children Elley Grace and Berkley.

Boots was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Tina on December 9, 1985.

Visitation will take place at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016. Graveside service arrangements forthcoming.
