With heavy hearts and endless love, we share the passing of our beloved Ophelia E. Ochoa, a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and treasured friend, who left us far too soon on June 25th, 2025 at the age of 76.
Ophelia was the heart and soul of our family—a woman whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She brought joy and warmth wherever she went, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her thoughtful nature, gentle spirit, and constant presence made her someone you were better for knowing.
As a mother, she was nurturing and selfless, always there with a listening ear, a comforting hug, or a few words of wisdom. As a wife, she was a steadfast partner—faithful, loving, and devoted in every way. As a daughter, she brought pride, always honoring family through her words and actions.
Ophelia was also a wonderful sister, aunt and niece—devoted to caring for those she loved and always offering a listening ear. She celebrated your joys as if they were her own and stood beside you through life’s challenges.
She touched so many lives with her smile, her laughter, her grace, and her heart. Whether it was through her quiet acts of generosity or the way she made everyone feel seen and heard, Ophelia, or Opie as her friends called her, truly made the world a lively and brighter place.
She is survived by her husband Mike Ochoa Jr. , daughter Selena Elida Ochoa, sister Maria Irma Gonzalez, niece Maria Criselda Gonzalez, and Great Uncle Baldomero “Baldo” Galvan; all of whom will carry her memory with them every day.
To honor her life, a Rosary will be held on July 6th at Cook Walden Cemetery Capital Park Location: 14501 N IH 35 Pflugerville TX 78660 (viewing from 5-7PM and rosary from 7-8PM).
