It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same.
Oralia Ybarra Mora, affectionately known as Rore, Lala, and Ora, danced her way into the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a strong spirited, resilient woman who lived her life with a courageous tenacity that was truly inspiring. A creative soul and a woman of God; she was known for her strong Catholic faith, her belief in the power of prayer, love for good food, flowers, family, and friends. Oralia lived her life in such a way that she left us all with many breathtaking moments to cherish.
Oralia was strong and independent, who radiated warmth and love that was truly infectious. She took immense pride in staying involved and helping in her community. Including the churches in West Texas and Austin, Texas. But her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved sons, daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Oralia’s heart was firmly rooted in her family.
Even though she became a widow in her mid-forties, Oralia remained resilient, proving that life is not about what happens to us, but how we respond. Her true belief was “Where there’s a Will, there’s a Way”! Her family will continue to honor her legacy.
