

Otha later married Walter M. McAfee Sr. This Union was blessed with two sons and a daughter.
Born with the natural ability to love, encourage, and humor others, Otha confessed her faith in Christ, and joined Progressive Missionary Baptist Church in El Campo, Texas, where she actively served in the Choir and diligently worked with the youth. She later became a member of Marlin Missionary Baptist Church where she continued to serve until God called her home on July 23, 2013.
She was preceded in death by numerous siblings and her second son, Garrieth J. McAfee.
She is survived by former husband, Walter M. McAfee Sr., of Pflugerville, Texas, an aunt, Rose Mary Tillman of Victoria, Texas, several siblings; Daz Patterson (Norman) of Rialto, California, Lois Ellis of Houston, Texas, Hazel Blackmon of Round Rock, Texas, Jessie North (Dorothy) of Missouri City, Texas, John Gardley Sr. (Rose) of El Campo, Texas, Manuel Gordley of San Angelo, Texas, Bill Gardley of Tacoma, Washington, and Cedell Gardley of Kansas, Missouri. Her memory will forever be cherished by her children Walter M. McAfee Jr. (Angel), of Cross Roads, Texas, Natasha Rockmore (Antoine) of Midland, Georgia, and Regina McAfee, the wife of the late Garrieth J. McAfee of Pflugerville, Texas; nine grandchildren, Tatjana, Walter II, Benjamin, Michael, Shawna, Isabella, Garren, Antoine Jr., and Adrian; two great grandchildren, Jazmyn and Michael III, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, her church family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks in Pflugerville. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
