

Pairin North, 58, of Austin, TX, a two-time survivor of breast cancer, passed away Monday, April 26, 2010, after a battle with bile duct cancer. A native of Thailand, Pairin married James E. North in November 1969 and had three children, Melinda, Jennifer, and Jason.
After settling in Austin, TX, Pairin worked for Texas Instruments/Solectron for 20+ years. While working there, she also attended cosmetology school and received her license as an operator. She then continued as a beautician at Hair Jazz and worked there for 15 years.
Pairin was a member of Wat Buddhananachat of Austin and Wat Pah Sammarkki Buddhist Temple in Killeen.
She is survived by James E. North; her daughters, Melinda “Charlene” Knight and her husband Lanny of Austin, TX; and Jennifer Lomax and her husband Marlon of Pflugerville, TX; and her son Jason North and his wife Karine of Tokyo, Japan. She had seven grandchildren: Toni Jarmusch and her husband Travis of Pflugerville, TX, Renae Hargis, CJ Anderson, Alexia Peralta, Kendal Anderson, Kiana Lomax, and Devin Knight. She also had one great-grandchild Truman Jarmusch.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the funeral home for the Buddhist Temple in her memory.
