

Paul Aaron Foxworth, 75, passed away peacefully March, 22 2017. Paul was born April 6, 1941 in Independence, MO. His father relocated the family to Austin in 1951 due to a transfer within the Bell company.
Paul graduated from Round Rock High School in 1959, where he was a member of the Round Rock Dragon Marching band. Soon thereafter Paul started his career with Southwestern Bell that spanned over four decades. In 1964 he married his teenage sweetheart, Sharon Clopton, and had three sons. After retirement in 2001 Paul continued to work other part-time jobs. As a member of the community Paul was always the first to volunteer his services for those in need namely Meals on Wheels. A devout Christian, he was involved in various churches where he held the position of song leader. Paul also enjoyed spreading the word of Jesus to those who did not know him. He loved Mexican food almost as much as the Longhorns!
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, C.O. and Ruth Foxworth, brother Robert, and sister Elaine. He is survived by sons, Greg, of North Richland Hills, Wade and wife Alicia of Austin, and son Jason and wife Sarah and grandson Lyle of Round Rock. Surviving siblings are sister Carolyn Zalme, of Moorpark, California and sister Nancy Wehr and husband Don of Leander. Paul is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family and many friends who will miss him greatly.
