Peggy A. Simmons, 63, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Stonebridge Nursing Home surrounded by family. Peggy is survived by her daughters Michelle (Erik) Zarse and Nicole (Justin) Zarse, and grandchildren Kai, Niko, and Ronan. Peggy was a beloved member of the Austin community and will be greatly missed.
The Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Cool-Walden Funeral Home (14501 N IH-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660). Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Celebration of Life will follow the Memorial Service and run until 6 p.m.
Flowers may be sent to the funeral home by Friday, August 2, 2024. Donations may be made to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD), which was Peggy’s form of earl-onset Alzheimer’s.
