Rachel was born in Santa Barbara, California to SueAnne Dezso and Gerald Spry. She was a 2013 graduate of Leander High School. Rachel was engaged to Braden Price of Austin, Texas. Rachel was a certified dental assistant and her most important job was being a mother to her sweet son, Ryder Daniel Spry-Price.
Rachel truly lived life to the fullest by loving the simple pleasures in life, such as taking pictures of family, friends and nature; she loved being with all her family so much. Rachel's personality had an uncanny ability to make people laugh and smile. Her talents were many, and she enjoyed writing to people and leaving notes. She left little footprints everywhere she went and she loved to color pictures with great detail for others. She also loved to journal and write prayers. Rachel had recently began learning to cook more and enjoyed cooking with her sisters; she enjoyed singing and dancing around the house while cooking. Rachel loved camping, kayaking, and walking in nature, especially in the mountains. She became an amazing mother and it came naturally to her. Rachel was also a very natural loving “Auntie” to her nephew, Liam, and she adored him.
Rachel was preceded in death by grandparents, Fred and Patricia King and by her father, Gerald Spry.
Surviving Rachel is her fiancé, Braden Price and son, Ryder Spry-Price. She is also survived by her mother, SueAnne Dezso and step-father, Dennis Dezso; her brother, Matthew Spry; her sisters, Michelle Mitchell, Danielle Spry and Rebecca Spry; her step-sister, Danielle Dezso; her grandmother, Roslie Oden; and her nephew, Liam Gomez. Her future step-daughter, Scarlett Price and mother-in-law, Tammy Price also survive Rachel.
Rachel has a scripture next to her bed which reads, “Create in me a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within me” ~Psalm 51:10.
Rachel’s legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone with whom she interacted; as well as those she reached, but never met. Rachel loved the Lord and will be awaiting all in Heaven.
