Randall H. Allen

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Ralph H. Allen; paternal grandparents, Millard W. Allen and Margaret M. Allen; maternal grandparents, Roach Wilkes and Sindy M. Wilkes. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jackie L. Allen; mother, Mildred W. Allen; sons, Christopher M. Allen and Brian D. Allen; granddaughter, Trinadee Vega, and great-granddaughter, Elena Vega.

After graduating from South Hall High School in Gainesville, Georgia, Randy joined the U.S. Air Force in 1970. He served in Vietnam, Guam, and stateside until his honorable discharge in 1974. He then joined the Air National Guard, serving in Aurora, Colorado until October 1981. After a brief service in the Air Force Reserves at Bergstrom Air Base in Austin, Texas, Randy retired from the Armed Forces in 1982 with the rank of Tech Sergeant.

He began his civilian career with Carbomedics in 1981, where he worked for 27 years in various roles including Process Control Technician. He moved to Encore Orthopedics, now DJO Orthopedics, in 2008 as a Process Technician, retiring in 2019.

A memorial service honoring Randy's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628.
