

She was born on August 20th, 1960 in Long Branch, New Jersey at Monmouth Medical Center. Rhonda came to know God and was baptized at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church in Cottondale, Florida at the age 11 when she lived with her grandmother Lucille Murchison for several years (Maternal). She later graduated from Long Branch High School in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1978 and immediately joined the United States Army. She elected to serve her 10 years abroad and homeland in the military as a 91B Combat Medical Specialist/91C Patient Care Technician (Medic) where she obtained her stripes as a respected Sergeant. Rhonda served her term from 1978-1988, and found her permanent residence in Austin, Texas.
She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, helping and informing others, assisting the elderly, cooking, helping others solve problems, and reading. Her greatest love was being a good daughter, mom, sister, aunt, mate, and friend.
Rhonda is preceded by her parents Andrew Jackson Thompson Sr and Mary Elizabeth Goodson, sister Glenda Cille Thompson, and her brother George Anthony Thompson Sr. She is survived by her daughter Kiana Ikim Trevino (Michael), Sons Darryl Leon Bills Jr, and Alexander Mark Reed, three grandchildren Norah Marie Trevino, Corin Elizabeth Trevino, and Andrew Michael Trevino. Also, a significant other Mark Reed, siblings Brenda Joyce Walker (Toms River, NJ), Andrew Jackson Thompson Jr (Jackson, Miss), Gene Ervin Thompson (Hollywood, Cal), Gregory Raynard Thompson (Cottondale, Fla), Kenneth Lyle Thompson (Orange, NJ), John Wilber Thompson (Cottondale, Fla), and Linda Elizabeth Thompson (Pflugerville, TX) and Lisa Rogers and Patricia Rogers (Long Branch, New Jersey). She is also survived by a bountiful number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
