

Mostly known as Sue Parker, age 93, of Leander Texas, passed away Wednesday afternoon January 29, 2025 peacefully in her sleep. She was born November 20, 1931, in Bomarton, Baylor County, a daughter of the late Chancey and Ellen Jernigan Cassle.
Sue was a very intelligent, independent, and private woman. She received many accolades and rewards for her brilliant career at Mason and Hanger, Amarillo Texas. She was an avid reader and when her eyes failed her she listened to books. She could play a great game of chess and won many tournaments playing Bridge and also played the piano. She could dance a mean 2 step and modeled when she was young. She was pretty savvy around the computer, watched 60 minutes, enjoyed crime tv shows the most and ate a lot of chocolate. She was very crafty and loved sewing, embroidery, crochet, knitting, taking pictures and scrapbooking. Her cornbread muffins were the best! She had a deep faith in God and loved those Baptist Hymns. She deeply loved her 2 sons and grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Sue had 2 sons Steven Reed Parker, deceased and survived by Thomas Walker Parker. She has 2 daughter in laws Cynthia and Tressa, 5 grandchildren, Rebecca Joy Parker, Wilson Steven Parker, (wife Collette) Connie Marie Rolfs, (husband Kyle) Abigail Roselyn Parker and Jessie Ellen Parker, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
A graveside service for Robye will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
