Those who knew Rogelio will remember him as a devoted educator who spent more than 33 years teaching and shaping the lives of countless students. He believed deeply in the power of education and cared sincerely for others, always ready to help those in need. He found joy in the outdoors and instilled in his children a love of animals, plants, learning, and music. A lover of books, Blue Willow held a special place in his heart and was deeply sentimental to him, reflecting his empathy, values, and love of learning. Loyal to his family and proud of his roots, he raised his family while attending graduate school and earning his master’s degree—an accomplishment that reflected his perseverance and commitment. He will be missed dearly.
