Rosemary Pilla Russell

Rosemary retired from Nunn Electric several years ago and enjoyed her retirement years with her husband Bob, children and grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

Rosemary “Ro” was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Dolly, her sister Margaret Walsh, and her husband of 49 years, Robert Arthur Russell. She is survived by her children, Mark, Tim and wife Jenny, Ron and wife Carolyn, and Ellen Russell; nine grandchildren, her “angel babies”; Nick, April and husband Brian, Stephanie and husband Ryan, Sean, and their mother Mary Russell, as well as Patrick, Jim, Paul, Zac, and Joey; three great “angel babies” Alec, Ethan, and Ava.

Her grandchildren will honor Rosemary as pallbearers. A special thanks to Dr. Kerry Rhodes for his compassionate care over many years and the doctors and nurses at Gentiva Hospice who cared for her during her brief illness.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 5. 2015 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church located at 12401 Bittern Hollow, Austin, TX with Fr. Matthew Iwuji officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
