Roy passed into God's arms at home while surrounded by his wife and children on December 27th, 2012 at 8:18 am. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanna Rasmussen, his children, Arron Rasmussen and Jessica Dye, his children-in-law, Anthony Dye and Leanne Huynh, and his three precious grandchildren, Madeline, Alexander, and Nicholas Dye.
A memorial service celebrating Roy’s life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
During the last year of Roy's life, the ministry at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Pflugerville helped bring him back to his faith. Because of that gift to Roy's life, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the church.
