On May 29, 2012, in Round Rock, Texas, Samuel C. Mendoza passed away at the young age of 50. He is survived by his father, Samuel C. Mendoza Sr.; his mother, Bernarda T. Mendoza; his sisters, Leah Mendoza , and Elka M. Sanchez; his wife, Alma; his daughter, Samantha; and his son, Brandon.
Sam lived life to its fullest always pushing forward through the hard times, yet enjoying the sweet moments of happiness with his family and friends. There was neither a hill too high, nor a valley to steep, that he couldn't overcome - no matter the difficulties or the pain it may have bestowed upon him, he would pull through with love still strong in his heart and kindness shining from his eyes.
Sam's passion in life was landscaping. He was self employed and put a lot of hard work and effort into his business "Keeping Austin Green". He loved spending his time at his son's soccer practices and games, and his daughter's dance competitions and supporting her through her higher educational goals. His kids were his true driving force in life and his spirit will shine through them. Their innocent hearts and determination are a direct reflection of the man he was. His beloved wife always had a special place in his heart, mind, body and soul. Alma was the life line that reeled him in and gave him the unconditional love and support that he required. Sam was a true Longhorn fan with a heart as big as Texas, and much like a bull that could not be contained.
Sam will truly be missed by all who knew him. His family will hold dear all the happy memories.
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
And no mind has imagined
What God has prepared
For those who love him"
