It's been over 11 years and I still miss you Mom. I love you and wish I would have done more for you. Unfortunately we don't get do overs. It smacks you right in the face if only....

Mom,you have been gone a week now and I just can't believe you are not physically here with us anymore. I miss your beautiful smile and hearing you say "I love you darlin". You were so much a part of my life that I am already missing you so much. I have received so many comments on what a beautiful service we had for you. You were loved by so many people and so many expressed what a joy you were when they would talk to you. I love you and will be with you and daddy one day when we will meet again.

To Sarah's Family and Friends -  My wife, Karen, and I have delivered "Meals on Wheels" for several years.  We always were especially happy to see Sarah, because she was always sweet and happy - no matter the occasion.  She put a smile on our faces and tocuhed our hearts.  We will miss her and pray that we are going where she has gone.

Mom it has been a week today since we buried you. I miss you so much. Even to the end you had that beautiful smile. I love you so much but I know you are in a much better place with Jesus,Dad,Peggy and Connie. Everyone will always remember you at the ball fields. I think they are going to change their name to Granny's Gang next season. I was told I have to carry on for you but I can't hold a candle to you. I have always loved that smile and your eyes have always had such a glow in them. I don't think I ever told you that and I am sorry I didn't. Until we meet again Mom. I love and miss you so much.

Granny Rose was an amazing lady, loved by all who knew her. She always had a smile on her face and a great sense of humor. She and Virgil were always kidding each other when we were on the bus and when we were setting up the equipment to play a service. We will miss her for a short time until we meet her again in heaven. She is now in her heavenly mansion next door to Jesus. It was prepared by Jesus for her to spend eternity with all of her loved ones. She will be waiting with open arms for the rest of them to come. We love you Granny and will see you soon.

Mom you had a beautiful burial ceremony. You would have loved it and it was you. So many people loved you and showed up to honor you. I miss you so much and wish I had done more for you. You were an amazing Mom and sometimes we don't see that until it is too late. But I am glad you went to a better place and now your healed. I love you so much. Rest in Peace. Love and Kisses to you.

It has be an excitement to know Sarah May.  Tommy came in at the right time know that God was taking her home soon.  I as a board member of the Round Rock Housing Authority, she thought I was funny. My heart hurts for each of you. Losing Granny is so hard. She was the rock anyone could lean on. She and I had some wonderful times. Thank you for sharing this great woman with all of us.

Seeing photographs of (Great) Aunt Sarah I am transported back to the days of my youth when she would visit with my grandmother (her sister Selma).  She was quick to laugh and always a joy to be around.  Grandma always called Aunt Sarah the sweet one.  My condolences.  I know it is small consolation, but I hope you find peace in the knowledge that she is with the Lord.
