Teri Vasquez, beloved wife, mother and friend passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 19, 1957 in Texas City, Texas to John and Melba (Jackson) Bentley.
She met the love of her life, Charles Vasquez, in Texas City and they were married June 24, 1977. They lived many years in Texas City and other communities in southeast Texas. She and Charles moved to the Austin area two years ago. Teri worked as a CAD Tech Specialist for ATT for many years. She was an avid gardener and had a special fondness for roses. Teri was also a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and loved spending time at the beach (especially Cancun). Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and her four legged companion, Lexi.
Teri was preceded in death by her parents, John and Melba Bentley. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 42 years, Charles Vasquez; three sons, Justin Vasquez and his wife Jennifer, Brandon Vasquez and Ryan Vasquez; brother, Brent Bentley and his wife Mary; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home.
