I worked with Thelma for over nine years at Georgetown back in the 90's.
I'll always remember her for her good personality, professionalism and kindness.

The way that she would, spontaneously, break out into singing was always a fresh memory for me.

I can almost hear her sweet voice now.

She left this world way too early!

To her family...I am saddened for your loss.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

I'll always remember Thelma singing. You couldn't help but smile listening to her sing a popular Brittany Spears song one minute then Good Morning Sunshine the next.

Thelma was always a 2nd mommie to me since Joanna and I were in kindergarten.   There's just no words to completely decribe what kind of person she was.  She didnt want people making a fuss over her but she had a big heart.  She was always dancing & singing..and laughing.  She loved her kids (including the dogs) more than anything.  She was a wonderful lady.  I will also miss her cooking, especially her pancit. Prayers and condolences to her family.

Dear  Joanna and Amanda, You have been blessed with a most loving and dedicated mother.  And because of her love and  dedication many good memories were built to lift your spirit when you are sad.  Thelma has left me with many good memories, not only as a colleague but as a friend.  What a unique person Thelma was.  She was like non-other! As I sit here in reflection of Thelma as a colleague
I am reminded of her strong work ethic,  loyalty to her employer, staff and patients and her unyielding energy. And as a friend the joy she radiated when we shared time with friends.  Maintain your strength in living a good life  by honoring your Mother's  legacy.

Thelma always had a way of making everyone feel good! She had a quick wit and smile. She will be greatly missed in this world! Prayers for Gods comforting hands surrounding her family 🙏🏻❤️

My goodness.  I have such sweet memories of  working withThelma.  She always had a smile and was so kind to her patients.

I worked with Thelma at Georgetown. Thelma was always happy and would light up the room. My father in law was her patient several times and loved her cause she always came in and rubbed his bald head.  Never knew a patient or co worker that didn’t love her.

Thelma was one of co workers in Georgetown hospital was always ready to help u when u ask for help answer questions when ask good charge nurse 

Rest easy Miss Thelma. I loved working with you at Georgetown. You always had us laughing. You were an amazing nurse, your patients loved having you dote over them.  ♥️

Ms Thelma was a beautiful spirit. She was always kind always smiling. She loved her family more than anything. She will certainly be miss here but you have a beautiful guardian angel in heaven. 

I worked with Thelma for 21 years. Always singing and a good attitude, Thelma brought the fun to the workplace. I remember her talking to JoAnna and Amanda on the phone--those teenagers! lol If I said a couple of words like, "pushing this stretcher is killing me", Thelma would break into a song, "Killing me softly with his song..."! Carla reminded me that Thelma had this favorite red-zippered pouch for her pens and pencils. Report could not start until Thelma had her red pouch! She loved loved loved her Champ, Brandy and other fur babies. I'll really miss her kind presence from this earth as will countless others. In her 45 years of nursing she touched the lives of many. Her memory lives on in all of us..

She is survived by daughters, Joanna and Amanda Ryan, stepson, Jerry and his wife Nichole, stepson, Johnny and his wife, Lee Ann, stepdaughter, Donna Ryan Pfeffer and her husband, Klaus, grandchildren, Amber, Samantha, Emma, Wilhelm, Werner, and Koleton, and great-grandchildren, Vera, Damien, Jordan, Devin, Jay, and Dominic, and brothers, William Belmonte, Arthur Belmonte, and Lednicky (Bitoy) Belmonte.
