I remember Tommy as a fellow classmate at Metz Elementary and Allan Jr. High School.  He was also a neighbor on Willow Street.  Tommy was one of the smartest boys I knew -- also one of the best-looking.  So sorry to hear of his passing at the YOUNG age of 73.  (specially since I am now almost there).  I'm sure Tommy will be missed by his family.

Alfred, I'm so sorry to hear about Tommy's passing.  Before he moved back to Austin, I can remember my Dad Robert getting excited about seeing his old friend.  I have very fond memories of Tommy.  I know he and my dad and Buddy are happy to be reunited.  I just learned of his passing today or I would have been at his memorial.  My prayers are with you and your family at this time. So sorry to hear of Tommy's passing.  The old Willow Street group is growing smaller.  Tommy, Buddy, Robert Earl, Alfred, Sister (Joyce), Lois, David Thomas, and Bubba Travis were at our house all the time.  I remember watching all of you having a good time while wishing I was old enough to be part of it.  

When we moved to Houston, Tommy came down with Buddy and Doris.  He was in college.  He was sitting on our upstairs porch studying.  I complained that I had to draw a skeleton showing all the bones. Tommy drew the skeleton for me.  Thanks to him I got an A . 

Tommy also loved to eat Momma's biscuits even when they were cold!  Tommy was a sweet soft-spoken man who was my brother Buddy's best friend! 

Please accept my most sincere condolences, Alfred.  Tommy was a wonderful person.

So sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. He was a great person. Haven't see him since Buddy Roberts funeral. May God surround all of you with his love and comfort. Know Tommy, Buddy & Robert Earl Eller are getting together in heaven and playing ball playing cards and having a good time.Prayers for all the family
