Tommy my friend, we all miss you.  As we say at work… “we are family “. I had the privilege of taking a picture with one of the best (you).  What was said here by your other co-workers is all true. We miss your smile and laugh.  Until we meet again.

Tom, our oldest brother. There is nothing I can say that could express how much I miss and love you. To show my appreciation for your love and all you have done and sacrifice for our family. I only hope that I can follow your example and be as good a person as you. 

You are with dad now and that makes me so happy. Give him a hug from me.

I am so saddened by the passing of Tam "Tommy " Tran he was always a humble and caring person with a great personality that could bring a smile to anyone who had a conversation with him. He taught me many things while working with him at amat and I will always remember the advice that he gave. RIP my friend until we meet again, May our father Jehovah keep your family in his thoughts and give them the strength to get through this difficult time.

Tam Tran…. Wow unbelievable news, I actually found this news out as I took some time for  my family.  Self care and family time is important in our line of work. I didn’t call Tommy by his govt name I called by his name name. I remember when I first said Tam Tran he looked up so quick and shared a heartfelt story. Ever since than it was Tam Tran. A master of his profession always held a positive attitude. I had the honor of working side by side with Tommy from 2017-2022 always wanted to achieve his level but my career path took me elsewhere. I would make it a point to check in with the legacy crew and he would greet me alway “big money how they treating on the other side of the lake” I would tell him trying to get in a spot where I can poach you. You will be missed, very good advice when you needed an unbiased person.

My deepest condolences to Tommy's family during this difficult time of loss.

I had the honor to be Tommy T's lead on his first day of employment at Applied Materials back in the year of 2000. I called him Tommy T because he was the coolest guy I had ever had the honors to work with.  Tommy was a self starter, a go getter and he never settled for anything lesser of perfection. If something wasn't correct, he would set you straight and keep it moving.

Tommy was super intelligent, he cared about his coworkers, the customers and most of all his job. His expertise during his time of employment at Applied Materials was "Master Leak Check Professional" and indeed he was the best to ever achieve that role until his last day with us.

Humble, extraordinary person of his demeanor are very rare and will never be another like him.

Tommy's spirit is present and his legacy will always be with us here at Applied Materials.

Godspeed and rest in peace my dear friend.

We're really sorry to hear about the passing of our dear Tommy .this loss hurts a lot and I sending my condolences to his family . I pray God  embraces him  with his mercy and grants him a place in paradise , I hope his family finds strength and comfort during this tough time .  Our only consolation is that what's with God is better and eternal .

I had the pleasure of working with you at Applied for a short period. I was impressed by your professionalism and attitude toward work. You were so kind, patient, and dedicated to the work that you were doing. I learned a lot from you regarding both work and personal life experiences. I was so shocked to learn the news that you have already passed—my condolences to your family at this challenging time. You will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace, anh Tommy.

To my Tommy.  I served with him for 20 years.  Together, we worked to make Applied and Etch great.  He was a teacher, mentor and driving force to our vacuum operations.  I have lost count of how many people he taught leak check operations.  Not only top notch technicians, but high level Engineers.  DR. Joe, our most experienced Vacuum expert at Applied (PHD), often consulted with Tommy.  Tommy was instrumental to the implementation of the bag leak check we do today across all BU’s.  A few years back Tommy was awarded the “Master” RoR Technician in  Etch as awarded by Matt Horton.  An Applied legend himself.  More importantly, to me, he was a loyal friend who took care of all of Etch.  Never missed a day of work.  Never complained or had any anger towards anyone.  I miss him so much.  He was a consummate professional and a true friend.  We will never be able to replace him.  God bless Tommy and his family.
