Wes was a passionate man, especially about his family, friends, hunting, the Texas Longhorns and most of all, about helping others. He loved volunteering for the Round Rock Sertoma Club. He was proud of his Swedish heritage and enjoyed coordinating and participating in the Carlson family reunions.
Wes inherited his passion for helping others from his father, the late Wallace Carlson. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Carlson, his children, Jason Nelson, Eric Carlson, Amanda Nelson Null, Elinda Carlson, and his mother, Ellen Carlson Lee, his brothers Hal Carlson, Mark Carlson and his sister, Elaine Mittel, six grandchildren and countless cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at Cook-Walden Capital Parks on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 3:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wes’ favorite charity, the Round Rock Sertoma Club.
