Willie was a devoted husband and father. He loved the outdoors, especially vacationing at the lake or beach with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and family that survive him including his wife Janie Beard, granddaughters Amy Cook and Terry Johnson, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 22, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Georgetown. Interment will follow the service at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Willie’s name.
