He married Tae I Lee on January 9, 1960.
He has four Children (Jae Man, Won Ja, Mi Ja, Jae-Sun), eight grandchildren (Albert, Andrew, Sungyan, Amber, Brandon, Tanya, Sonya, Vanessa) and three great-grandchildren (Archer, August, Adalie).
To provide a better future and education for his children, he decided to immigrate to US in May 1978.
He passionately loved his children and his political career.
His hobbies were gardening, fishing, and exercising.

A visitation for Yun Go will be held Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 PM, with a committal service to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
