Our condolences and sympathy on such a precious loss. My Tia Lisa was the last Icon in the family. I have many fond memories of her and Tio Daniel when my Mom and Dad would visit the Amaral family. A visit would always turn into a party with Mexican music, plenty of food and dancing in the living room. I always enjoyed our visits as a child and enjoyed playing with Daniel and Arnold. As always My Tia was always good for a great hug and something to say. I will miss her dearly. Remember her strong spirit and feisty demeanor and she will always be with you.

Our condolences and sympathy on such a Precious Loss, to see another Matriarch leave us definitely leaves us with a heavy heart.  She always made us feel so loved being around her, she was high spirited and to the point.  She adored her Family for sure.

Sweet Tia Alice, thank you for sharing such delicious meals at your many parties on 35th Ave.  I loved your Beautiful colorful Roses there.  Your menudo should be inducted to the food network hall of fame.  We always enjoyed it immensely.

My Tia Lisa, as many of us called her, was a wonderful mother to her children and a wonderful mother to countless others. I loved her humor, see things on the funny side of life, willingness to laugh, giving of herself to everyone who knew her and man could she cook. Some of my best memories were of her and my mom making all us kids something to eat.  I loved her "don't mess around get he job done attitude" cause that left more time for great stories filled with laughter. If we misbehaved she would give us a butt whooping too. She always told you what you needed to hear whether you liked it or not and you knew it was true. She was also gifted at telling scary stories that kept me up for hours when I was a kid. She had the ability to remember something about you and turn it into something filled with humor. I will miss her like I miss my mom. God Bless you Tia. your niece, Chris A. young

What a great mother in law she was. I've always bragged about how she taught me how to cook Mexican food, etc. She had a wickedly funny sense of humor, and gave me her best son, Arnold. Danielle loved being around her for the first 5 years of her life. We'll see her again, along with her husband, who 'went to sleep with Danielle'. Loved you, great lady. Linda
