Annabel Esther (Houy) Barker passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on Sept. 13 2020 at the age of 89. She was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas. She married James Barker at the Edison United Methodist Church in Fredericksburg in 1956. He preceded her in death in 2004. She was also preceded in death
by her parents, Arnold and Annie Houy, Sisters Madeline Dilley, Margaret Shaw, Mildred Houy, Florine Erwin, and brother Arnold Houy Jr. She is survived by her Sisters Viola Hohmann of Fredericksburg, Texas and Olida Worley of Ogden, Utah. Also survived by her four children: Valerie Barker of Fredericksburg, Texas, Julie and Peter Urbon of San Diego, California, Lori and John Wiggs of Phoenix, Arizona,
and Tim and Lesa Barker of Meridian, Idaho.
Her greatest joy later in life wereher five grandchildren: Kellen and Seth Urbon, Pamela Axtman-Barker, BJ
Barker, and Danielle Wiggs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. No service is planned at this time. Memorials by be made to the United Methodist Committee on Relief, or your charity of choice.
