

Arlene joined Heaven with her daughter Nicolette Calabrese.
Arlene is survived by her three children, Annette Fischer (Edwin Fischer), Anthony Calabrese (Donna Calabrese), Teresa Wheeler (Joseph Wheeler). Four grandchildren; Carl, Kristine (Seann), Nicholas, Anthony, Morgan (Hayden), and Kendall. Eight great grandchildren; Kira, Trinity, Zakary, Kennedy, Shyann, Arianna, Rylan, and Elena.
Arlene moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1986 and was employed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona. She retired on September 30, 2000 after serving the federal government for 14 years to live a very active 24+ year retirement.
Arlene was very active and proud of her Catholic faith. In 1992, she became an active member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, served the altar ministry, was active in RCIA, and in 1996 made her Cursillo.
One could always find Arlene surrounded by friends and family. She loved going to lunch and movies with her friends. Her family knew her as “Nana” and she had such a huge impact on everyone around her.

A Mass service will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 3801 E Greenway Rd, Phoenix, AZ on Wednesday, June 11 at 10:30 a.m. A luncheon to follow in Santa Maria Hall.
