With profound sadness we mourn the loss of Arlene, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, loving sister and best friend, who passed away surrounded by her family on January 22, 2013 at the age of 72. She was sincerely loved by all who had the good fortune to know her. She was gifted with a quick wit and an equally quick, wonderful laugh that made Arlene’s friends and family feel like we were in on a private joke that connected us all together.
Arlene is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert, whom she met in New Jersey. They raised their family in Nutley, NJ, before retiring to Phoenix in 2003, where she loved the wonderful weather! She is also survived by her children, Robert Muller II of Bloomfield, NJ, Frances Umstadter and her husband, Tracy, and Elizabeth Janke and her husband, John, all of Phoenix, Marie Bell of Plano, TX, Mark Muller and his wife, Kerry, of Nutley, NJ, and Michael Muller of Caldwell, NJ; her twin sister, Bernice LaDuca and her husband, Ron, of Lakewood, NJ; her brothers Walter Roberts, Robert Roberts and his wife, Dot, of Surf City, SC, Harry Roberts and his wife, Irene, of Barnegat, NJ, Ruth Tincher of Wildwood, FL; dozens of nieces and nephews, 13 grandchildren and a beautiful great-granddaughter, all of whom she loved and cherished. Arlene is predeceased by her sister Helen Bond of Harrsion, NJ, her brother Ralph Roberts of Newark, NJ, and her brother Jack Roberts of Newark, NJ.
Arlene lives on in the hearts of those she touched for nothing loved is ever lost and she loved and was loved deeply.
