Barbara King Yu

Barbara’s family and her role as a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, etc. was the most important thing to her. This was where she drew her strength and left her legacy. Spending time with her family was what brought her the greatest joy. Through life’s trials and tribulations, her love and desire to care for her family always remained her focus. She persevered through adversity and never lost sight of the importance of this value that she held very dear to her heart.

It made her happy to be able to help others. She would give selflessly and not expect anything in return. She drew joy from the fact that she had made a difference in someone’s life.

Barbara is survived by: Leona Duong (daughter), Quang Duong (son-in-law), Alice Leung (daughter), Danny Leung (son-in-law), Simon Yu (son), Sylvia Yu (daughter-in-law), Grandchildren (Nathan Duong, Sean Leung, Owen Duong, Liam Leung, and Noah Yu) and preceded in death by: Nging Pie Lee (father), Ngan Oy Lee (mother), and Mei Yee (grandmother).
