Baby Benny! How a year had passed us with shattered  hearts, I’ll never know! I do know that we miss you more with every passing day and we thank you for sending us signs. We know u are taken care of on the other side but my god, how we miss u! By now, you would’ve been saying “Netnet” and then ignoring me when Beya or Dominic came around. I love u papis and please keep hugging your parents hearts.  We love u!

Hi my Papi! I think of u daily - every time I smile but most times I cry first. We left some toys on your resting place. I hope u get to play with them.  We miss u so very much. Kisses from Netnet 💋 

Thinking about the gender reveal nana chae and I threw for you. We were only asked to make a football with pink or blue dust inside for your dada to break open, but something told us we had to go above and beyond for you. We didn’t realize it at the time, but now I’m thinking that the universe knew we’d have to celebrate you way more than usual since we’d only have you for a limited time. So that’s what we did. We made sure that aside from the football, your brother, sister, and your nanas had confetti cannons too. We also gave your mama a gift bag with a framed ultrasound picture of you and a card. You can see all the blue confetti, glitter dust, etc. on the floor in this pic. I think everyone knew very well that you’d be a boy, but when we saw all the blue at the end of the countdown, we all cheered like we had no idea. Your brother was especially excited. If I could upload a video, you could see him running around shouting “yes! yes!” over and over again and nana chae shouting “well we can’t name him Molly!” 😂 that’s what your brother wanted to name you if you had been a girl, because of Molly from toy story. As we all know now, you turned out to be called Benny, short for Benjamin. I’ve always called you Ben. Your cousin/godsister Lexi would always laugh because when I’d babysit you, she could sometimes hear me from outside the door shouting “No Ben” or “Stay over here Ben” when you were getting into things you weren’t supposed to! You have no idea how much I’d give to get to babysit you one last time! To watch all your favorite Pixar movies with you while we snuggle, tickle your neck to make you laugh, sit in amazement about how much food you could fit into such a tiny body, and change your diaper with the help of net net since you always tried to wiggle away! But I know you’re having much more fun up in heaven. Until I meet you there, hugs, kisses, and love from Beya 😘  

Hi my Benny.. I’m sure u know how much we all miss u papis. It still feels so unreal & like I’ll see u again soon & I know we will one day. Me & Nana Shay went to the store to get toys for u & ur cousin Dominic. We got u a Buzz, Woody, Mike Wazowski & Sully. We will never let our Benny go. I’ll always get u toys and keep them for u, ok? Make sure ur hugging on Mama, Dada, Sissy and Brother. Don’t forget to hug ur Nanas. We all love feeling ur presence. We miss u tremendously!!

My Benny baby, I wish I would have taken  more pictures of you at your cousin Lily's party. You were just walking around and you may have grabbed a soda or 2,3,4,5 lol but what I remember the most is walking outside and I saw little pieces of the table cloth on the floor and I thought was there a kitty in my yard. I looked over and I saw you under the table shredding the table cloth and slowly pulling it down bringing down whatever candy was left on there. I just laughed and my honey gave you a piece of candy and your cousin Daniel cleared all the stuff off that table and left the table cloth for you to just shred with your little sharp nails. We miss you so much baby. I take you to work with me everyday my Benny baby 💙

My Benny Nana can remember the first day I got to hold you and the last day I got to snuggle with you so many memories with you grandson that I will cherish forever in my heart. One of my memories is when I went to pick you up, this is when you were crawling and when I lift you up I got poop all over my arm that one always sticks out cuz your brother was gagging on the side when I was asking him for help you thought it was funny cuz I was holding you trying to change you but you are mr. Wiggles never like to lay still to change your diaper I will miss you so much my lil adventurous, Fearless climber

You grabbed my phone and started to chew on it but I stopped you so u whined & and then i tried to distract you with your beautiful face on the camera .. so you proceeded to take a selfie lol You knew you were a little cutie pie and that seeing this pic in my phone would make me smile for the rest of my days. You were right! 

Benny baby! My sweet precious angel you were such a beautiful soul it amazes me how independent you were how fearless you were how loved you are! I’m so happy this last time I saw you you finally let me hold you I remember walking to your mom and telling her oh my gosh Sylvia look he’s finally letting me hold him I was so happy because every time I try to hold you you would never let me you would give me this look like girl don’t touch me and walk away but this last time you let me hold you and you cried for me to not put you down you threw yourself on the ground and did your little fake cry and just looked at me and waited for me to pick you back up . If I would’ve known that would be the last time I got to hold you I promise you baby I would’ve never put you down I would’ve held  you all night and never let you go. I promise you will be here for your mommy and daddy your brother and sister we will forever cherish your memory celebrate your life and keep you in my heart. Look at you and your cousin Dominic. Always side by side and always watching your favorite movies together. We always joked at how much bigger Dominic was compared to you but the two of you didn’t see any difference & Dominic was so gentle and careful with you. Just two cousins enjoying your time together with your favorite movies & characters. Also, in the picture with Sully, you have cousin socks on & Dominic has april  feet. These are two inside jokes with our family. My precious Benito, Tia Netnet misses waking up to greet you at the door, only for you to cry for your big cousin, Beya lol. I have a Sully, Mike, Nemo, Dory & Luca toy put aside for you.. come play with them anytime papito. 

Hi Ben <3 This is about the 100th time I write to you so I know you might be sick of me… well too bad!! I’ll never shut up about you! As heartbroken as we all are right now, I take comfort in knowing that you are living it up right now, even if it’s not down here with the rest of us. You’re chillin in nothing but a diaper, a can of pop in one hand and a chicken drumstick in the other, watching your favorite movies over and over again, cracking up each time you see Dory and Marlin meet for the first time. Whenever you watched Nemo with me and netnet, we’d play that part over and over again just to hear your precious laugh. Just like Dory never got old for you, your laugh never got old for us. Neither did your big beautiful eyes, the way you whispered when you talked, how much you cried for me when I was too far away, how much you loved being outside, your daring personality!! You climbed everything and ran everywhere, I could never take you to the front yard because you’d just dart right towards the street like you were invincible! I couldn’t even show you how dangerous it was because as much as you loved running off, you loved it even more when I had to chase you down to bring you back!! The textbook definition of “I’m here for a good time, not a long time…” You make me crazy kid. Your absence leaves me with heartbreak that I’ve never known to be possible, but knowing how much fun you’re having right now brings out of me a happiness that I’ve never known to be possible, and that makes it all better. I want you to tell big nana, your tata, all the tios, and everyone else that they better be spoiling you way more than any of us here on Earth ever did, especially for holidays and your birthdays. If not, Beya’s gonna have to kick some butt!! But I know they’ve got you. They love you. We love you. We know you love us. Sweet little Benny, So I remember  we were at tia piggy house having a bbq and they were cooking all kind of food, and they also were cooking drumsticks and everyone of course ate them right  away , but there was a tiny little drumstick left and I was the lucky one to grab the last one (or so I though) lol and I decided to go outside, and there was a little chicken thief that I wasn’t aware off,  and  felt a pull on my sleeve  and I look down and it was you Benny, you look straight to my eyes took the drumsticks from my hand and you took a bite and walked away with it, few minutes later you brought me the bone with no meat on it all, we laughed and you walk away. We miss you my little ladrón de pollo 🍗.

oh my benny… I miss you so much my love ur literally so sweet baby I miss you so much baby boy u would always mess with me it would be so funny cause u would take my food all the time ughhhh I miss that so much 😭 I would always chase him around it would be so funny u always run away from me and I miss that baby jus know I will always love u no matter what my Benny I love u baby miss u handsome baby🤍.

My little Benny, I remember the first time I got to meet you. Your mommy and daddy brought you to Tia netnets house and were sleeping so peaceful and comfy in mommas arms and I asked if I can hold you. I held you for less than a second and instantly felt you weren't in your mommas arms and started crying so I handed you back and you stopped crying lol. Every time after that I would walk up to you and put my arms out and you would go the other direction until one day you didn't you just walked up to me looked at me and let me hold you. I held until you wanted to be put down and anytime after that any chance I got and that you would allow me to I would hold you. Ohh our little Benny baby we are going to miss you so much

This was the day we got ice creams from the ice cream man and we stole Bella's, bc hers tasted better than ours. LOL It was your first time trying strawberry shortcake crunch. It was a good day we had as a family, hanging out, eating and watching movies. Mama loves you with all her heart. <3 MyHeartBenny

Benjamin "Benny" Steven Aparicio, age 2 of Phoenix passed away on March 14th after a tragic accident. Benny was born March 27th, 2020 to Antonio "Tony" Aparicio II and Sylvia Valencia-Aparicio in Phoenix, Arizona.  Benny is survived by his parents Tony and Sylvia Valencia-Aparicio, sister Isabella "Bella" Aparicio-Hernandez and brother Antonio "Chucho" Aparicio III and grandparents: Barbara Mada Celaya and Lisa Desamais Valencia as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.  Benny was a fun-loving child who loved teasing his older siblings. He loved movies like Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo as well as his newest hobby coloring. Benny loved playing outside on his trampoline and swing set as well as riding his Big wheel tricycle with his chihuahua Sandy right by his side eating snacks together.  Benny also loved music and loved to dance. Anytime music was playing, Benny would find his way to the speaker box and be dancing to the music.  We will deeply miss our precious little Angel who enriched and made our lives better with his presence.

Dear Benny,
I will always Love you my nephew, you will always be locked into the safest place in my heart. I remember the first time I got to hold you in my arms, I am honored to be your Tio Tete always and forever, every time I think of you and how much you resemble your father, my brother, your DADDY You are so precious my nephew. It hurts me to write words that you won’t get to understand, I can’t imagine how your Mommy and Daddy feel. They love you unconditionally, so do your big brother and sister. We all love you unconditionally, both of your Nana’s, Tata’s, Tio’s, Tia’s and Cousins But don’t you worry my nephew there will be plenty of POP for you to drink up in heaven. There will always be Nemo playing in the lord’s movie theater know your Tata will be there to hug you, as well as your Daddy’s Nino, you’re going to love him, Tio Stevie will be there too you wont ever be alone mijo I promise you will always live on in my heart. I keep having this memory of you and your cousin Averianna jumping and playing in the trampoline you just wanted her to chase you around in circles. WE beat the Cardinals that night oh how I remembered your smile is so priceless, both you and my baby laughing together. One the most beautiful moments in life, I will always treasure and cherish that night, because that was the last time, I got to see you and hold you. I wish I would have held you longer and kept you in my arms forever my nephew. I’m so sorry Benny I was too selfish because of something I was dealing with myself I forgot about what’s important, and that is you especially you and all of our family and no matter what I know that you have two of the most amazing parents in the world! I’m sure you knew that too.I believe God has called you home for a reason my nephew, and although that reason may be unexplained unbearable and painful all at the same time.

They call some people mama’s boys, daddy’s boys, etc. You were both of those, but when you came to my house, you were Beya’s baby! Every time you woke up next to me, whether it was first thing in the morning or first thing after a nap, you would crawl over to snuggle with me before going on with the rest of your day. I will cherish those snuggles forever! 

Benny, my stage five clinger. Everyone who knew you knew that you were a little shy guy. Wherever you were, you had to have certain people close by. I’m lucky to say I was one of those people. Whenever mom or dad needed a babysitter and dropped you off at my house, everyone knew that I’d have to be the one to step in. If not, you’d sit outside my bedroom door crying until I came out to hold you. You’d be glued to me all day. On that note, here you are throwing a tantrum because I wouldn’t let you sit in my lap. I was eating hot soup and didn’t want you to spill any and burn yourself, but of course that didn’t matter to you. You just wanted to be close to me no matter what, even while I was using the bathroom. One day you and I will get to cling to each other ten times more, ten times harder! Just not in the bathroom this time, okay? 

My Benito, I had a laundry basket full of clean clothes and you went and pulled that tower of clothes down until you were able to find one item to fit over your head… it was underwear!! Haha 
We laughed and laughed so you went back and got another piece of clothing & tried to fit that over your head. 
You just got a kick out of making us laugh & it was then that we realized that you were a little jokester. You just wanted to put a smile on our faces & our hearts. I will always smile when I think of you. We love you Benny!

While visiting outside one day, you let me hold you. Your eyes, so amazingly big and bright, with a huge smile shinning, you lit up the night. 

You gave me a hug and it forever warmed my heart.  Charming little guy, with licorice half hanging out of your mouth. 

I will cherish these special  moments with me forever!
