Bennie Jay Apodaca

Bennie is survived by his mother Elisa, brother Johnny, sister Theresa, and brother Melchor and predeceased by his father Henry and brother Henry "Rick" David.

Bennie was born in 1955 in Phoenix, AZ to Henry and Elisa. He graduated from Arizona State University with a Master's degree in music. Bennie worked for the United States Post Office as a mail sorter for many years, played with the Mesa Symphony, and also worked as a substitute teacher.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm with a rosary at 4:00pm, at Advantage Colonial Chapel, 4141 N. 19th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85015. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, December 8, 2017 10:00am at Immaculate Heart Church, 909 E Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85034. Graveside service will be held at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery at 12:00pm, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, AZ 85008.
