Betty Jean Barrs

Betty Jean Barrs was born on March 9, 1942, in Sierra Vista, AZ. Born to her mother Eunice Stoglan and Albert Bragg. Not long after she was born, she had become an older sister to Gloria. Their parents were only married for a short amount of time. Later her mother remarried to a soldier by the name Benjamin Little. Together they had seven more children, making Betty the eldest of nine boys and girls on her mom’s side. Betty took on that role as the eldest of which had its not so joyful times but also many joyful times that came along with having eight siblings.

Later in life she turned into a beautiful young adult and gave birth to her first beautiful daughter Desiree Dale. For a while it was the two until she met a man by the name Willie Barrs. Willie also had children of his own Willie Barrs Jr., Cheryl Barrs Randell, Rodney Barrs, and Kelly Barrs. These two later down the line got married and had two more kids together, Mark Barrs and Joey Barrs Sr., to which completed a blended family of nine.

Betty and Wille stayed married until death did them part.

Betty was a devoted Jehovah witness that gave her strength, solitude, and serenity that she held dear to her heart until the end.

She was a seamstress for most of her working career, but most importantly she enjoyed being a homemaker to her husband, children, grandchildren, and she took care of everyone from her grandmother, mother, stepfather, and siblings. When any of her loved ones would say “I love you!” she would always respond with “I love you more!” Betty was the rock of the family and will truly be missed!
