

Bill Eldon Graves, 82 of Camp Verde, passed away on July 24, 2012. Son of Mary Albin and Bill Graves, whose mother was Eva Wescoatt, daughter of Nelson Jack Wescoatt, the oldest son of Captain Riley Wescoatt. He was born on March 29, 1930 in Mullen, ID. They moved to Phoenix. He and his brother, Jim, enlisted in the Navy during the Korean war, graduated from Phoenix college. He worked for AZ Public Service Co. until he retired. Met and married Betty Johnson, they celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2010. Had 3 children and kept them active in church and sports. Also in 4-H after moving to Camp Verde, AZ . He and Betty loved horses and riding always having them until retirement. Then he had and restored antique cars, and was president of the the Veteran Motor Car Club; still has a 1966 Ford pick up. In addition to his wife, Betty, Bill is survived by two sons, Bill (Lisa) and Bob (Debra) and one daughter Bonnie. Also brother Jim (Carol) and sister Dorothy (Charles) and three grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 27 at 10:00 AM at Greenwood Mortuary Chapel, 719 N 27th Ave., Phoenix.
