

Born in Little Rock Arkansas on October 31, 1927 she relocated to Kansas City Mo. during the Great Depression with her mother Verla and sister Janice. Following WWII she married Bruce McLean and the couple had 2 children Pamela Jo and Hal Brian.
Divorced in 1952 Mrs McLean took on the challenge of single parenting and becoming a professional in Insurance Agency. She rose to the position of Corporate Underwriter at a time when there were few opportunities for women in the workplace. She held this position at USF&G and Mann-Kline agencies in Kansas City.
In 1967 Mrs. McLean moved West to Phoenix Az. and took a position with The Fireman's Fund agency. She retired in 1989.
Mrs. McLean was preceded in death by her mother Verla, daughter Pamela, sister Janice, grandson Joshua, and longtime companion Donald Mennick.
Mrs.McLean Is survived by her son Hal McLean, nephew Edward Bell, grand children Lisa Albright, Phillip John Andrews, Nicole Sauno, and numerous great grandchildren.
Cremation has occurred and a celebration of life will follow at a later date.
