Billy Joe Carson

Billy Joe Carson, 78 peacefully passed away in his New River, AZ home on 06/14/2012. Billy was born on November 17, 1933, to his father Earlie and mother Willie Tidmore Carson in Collinsville, Alabama.

Surviving Bill is his loving wife Debra Carson, Daughter, Rachael Carson, Sister Janice Carson Mills, Brother Mackie Carson, and Grandchildren, Jacob and Alex Almond.

Billy was often asked if his name was William and his reply was simply..."Billy Joe". Billy Joe left Alabama at the age of 18 knowing then that Phoenix had a lot of promise for the construction industry and the open ranching land which eventually drew him to owning and operating his own ranches. His was drafted into the Army during the Korean war conflict. After his completion of the Army tour Billy returned to Phoenix to pursue his education and immediately started developing his own successful commercial construction companies, the last being Five Star Contracting where his long time friend and dedicated employee "Misty' held a key role in keeping things running smoothly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 4:30 PM to 7 PM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E Greenway Rd. Funeral service will be Tuesday June 19 at 9:00 AM, immediately following will be a Military service at the National Memorial Cemetery at Pinnacle Peak & Cave Creek Rd. at 10:30 A.M
