Braden Thomas King, 20, of Tempe, AZ, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 31, 2023, from natural causes. Braden lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure, and his bright spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Born on December 6, 2002, in Walnut Creek, CA. Braden was a talented and driven young man who graduated from Boulder Creek High School in Anthem, AZ, in 2021. He went on to pursue his passion for finance at Arizona State University, where he thrived as a dedicated student and interned with Ameriprise Financial in Scottsdale, AZ.
When he wasn't busy with his studies, Braden loved to watch basketball, especially his favorite team, the Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC). He enjoyed staying fit and healthy by working out in the gym and playing basketball with friends. Braden spent his time outside of college working at EOS Fitness in Tempe.
Braden was known for being “quick witted” and was always the first to join a conversation with a joke or a smile. His kind heart and infectious spirit touched the lives of all who knew him, he cherished the time he spent with his family, and his close circle of friends, including his cute dogs Katie and Bella.
Braden is survived by his mother, Tracy King, his uncle, Scott King, his aunt Cathy Paster, his grandmother Leslie King, close family friend and confidant Brad Davis, along with several other relatives and “friends who he considered family”. His grandfather, Dennis King, predeceased him.
