He was born in Chicago, IL on June 15th, 1947 to Donald and Virginia (née Bromberek) MacLain. Bruce is survived by his wife of 47 years, Phyllis (née Kalish) MacLain; daughter, Meghan (MacLain) Mackow; son-in-law, Kamil Mackow; sisters, Mary Beth Giacalone & Joan MacLain, along with many extended family members, loved ones, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Virginia MacLain, and sister Holly (MacLain) Pharmer.
Bruce enjoyed reading, hiking, fishing, traveling, bird watching, playing games, gathering with friends at the local watering hole, live music, Sanibel Island, his grand puppies, and above all, his family and friends.
