

Carl received his education at Dunbar Elementary, Grant Jr. High School, and Phoenix Union High School. He played football and other sports while attending high school. He enlisted in the military, was a professional boxer as well as a truck driver. His hobbies were gambling and traveling.
While in high school he met Alice Worley and married her in holy matrimony on February 17, 1961. To this union five children were born, one which preceded him in death. He later met the love of his life, who remained by his side till the end: Mary Chambers and on September 9, 1978 they were united in holy matrimony. This union also brought forth five children.
Carl was preceded in death by his father William Moore Sr., ex-wife Alice Moore, son Fletcher Moore Sr., granddaughter Andrea Moore, brother Larry Moore Sr., sister Maudie Moore, Gloria Smith (respected mother of Terry Smith), and Kendall Chambers.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother Ideal Moore of Phoenix, AZ, Love of His life Mary Moore of Tempe, AZ, three sisters: Charlene Thompson (Stanley) of Tucson, AZ, Lorraine and Rosemary Moore of Phoenix, AZ, four brothers: William Moore (Charmettria), Cheyenne More (Mary), Dewayne Moore (Linda), Robert Moore all of Phoenix, AZ, five daughters: Arlis Moore of Glendale, AZ, Chandra Moore, Carletta Moore both of Phoenix, AZ, Crystal Gray (Robert) of Maricopa, Arizona, Glenda Benford (Douglas) of Tolleson, AZ, five sons: Carl Jr. (Lena), of New Mexico, Terry Smith of Avondale, AZ, Marcus Moore, Kevin Chambers both of Phoenix, AZ and Warren Chambers (Cathy) of Alabama. He also leaves 38 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
All that knew him knew he was a fighter, a vey good fighter. He fought a very good fight to live life to the end. He was good at whatever he set his mind to do, whether it was being a friend, father, brother, husband, son, advisor, gambler, traveler, fisherman or horse back rider.
He will truly be missed.
