Carolyn Jean Morgan

Carol worked as a Librarian for Paradise Valley Unified School District. She has worked at Palomino Elementary for many years. Before being hired, she was very involved in the school's PTA. She also spent many years volunteering with the Girl Scouts during her daughter’s involvement with the Arizona Cactus Pine Council.

Carol had a passion for cross-stitching, watching sports, and building LEGO kits. She likes trips to Disneyland and cross-country road trips with the family. One of her favorite places was Yellowstone. She loved seeing animals; some of her favorites were the moose and wolves. She enjoyed baking and making new recipes with her granddaughters.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Morgan. Her children, Candace Hale and Brian Morgan. Her granddaughters: Breanna, Courtney, and McKenna. Her siblings are Harold (Paula) McCormick, Irene McCormick, Glen (Julia) McCormick, and Donna Witte. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Marjorie McCormick.

Services will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85027 on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 5:30 pm. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Yellowstone Forever.
