Celia “Sally” McCraw was born in Phoenix, Arizona on 19 July, 1944 to Solomon and Antonia Padilla. She is survived by husband, Lawrence “Larry-Mac” McCraw, sister Virginia Alcocer, brothers: Solomon and Tony Padilla, children: Lynn Allan Ellis, Toni Marie Wallis, Charlie E Ellis, Jim McCraw, Mary Waddell, grandchildren: Danny, Shannon, Kelly, David, Heather, Sarah, Rebecca, Dillion, Johnathan, Brent along with great-grandchildren: Anden, Hudsen, and Tyler.
Sally and her husband belonged to The Arizona ATV Riders club, and truly enjoyed many miles and hours on the Arizona trails in their side by side “Kermit” with their friends.
She enjoyed visiting Bearizona in Williams, AZ from where we believe she has enough T-shirts to open a gift shop for them. Here favorite snacks were M & M’s and Cheez-Its and she has the shirts to prove it.
Her daily routine included lunch at any of the following restraunts: Moon Valley Café, 40th Street Café, Raul and Theresa’s, and Manuel’s, where she found many friends and adopted children.
Her dogs Annnie and Stella brought her much joy as they climbed on and over her whenever she stopped long enough for them.
She truly loved serving in the St. Vincent de Paul pantry where she provided unselfish service never wanting recognition for such. Her compassion ran deep.
