Charles Donald Holloway, Jr. born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on December 24, 1947, Charles Donald Holloway, Jr. entered into heaven on December 1, 2025, in Sun City, West Arizona. Charles was one of two children born to Charles Donald Holloway, Sr., and Florence Robinson.
When Charles was young, his family relocated to Iowa, where he attended school. It was there, in high school, that he met the love of his life, Elizabeth. They shared nearly 49 years together, married until her passing, and together they raised two wonderful children.
Charles was known for his incredible work ethic. Starting at the entry level with Ford tractor companies, he became a self-made engineer, dedicating over 30 years to the development of tractors, parts, and components. His dedication was recognized with several awards, including an Attendance Award, reflecting the values of hard work and commitment that his children proudly followed.
Beyond his professional achievements, Charles was a devoted father—kind, committed, and deeply likable. He loved Christmas and cherished spending time with his children. Charles loved music and at one point in his life, while living in Des Moines, Iowa, he was a radio host and “DJ” disk jockey. After retirement, Charles and Elizabeth relocated to Arizona to be near their youngest child, Jame. There, they enjoyed a life full of travel, visits with friends, and the simple joy of being together.
Charles leaves behind his mother, Florence; his two sons, Charles and Jame; his grandchildren, Charli, Chandler, Malayna, Ellyana; and was also a father figure to Chantell Holloway his daughter-in-law; and several other close family and friends.
Charles was greeted in heaven by his beloved Rottweilers Smokey and Willow.
