Christopher R. Carrancho

Christopher was born May 14, 1955 in Salinas, California, to Dora V. Ortega and Frank Carrancho.

Christopher is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rebeca, four children, Christopher, Daniel, Crystal and Frankie, four grandchildren, Maya, Logan, Giordana, and Oliver, his mother, sisters Francis, Olivia, Sabrina, and Velinda, brothers Andrew and Henry. Christopher was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.

Christopher had a passion for sports and was an avid AZ Cardinals and Phoenix Suns fan; he was guaranteed to be seen wearing his favorite jerseys during game time. Christopher loved to be surrounded by family and friends. Always good-humored and friendly, he could easily spark a conversation with anyone. When he wasn’t cooking someone’s favorite meal, he was at the grill preparing his famous family chicken recipe while listening to music. After becoming a grandfather, his grandbabies became the favorite topic of conversation and he looked forward to weekend visits when “Tata” could play and be silly with them. He will be missed by all.

Services are being held at St. Francis Cemetery located at 2033 N 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008 on Friday April 29th at 10am, in the mausoleum, where he will be laid to rest immediately following the service.
